All set to go....   weekend openings again,  Fri & Saturdays 10-6pm.  no appointment necessary,  store limit 4 customers.

Also....   well over 200 new arrivals in our Records section.. check it out as a VIP for quick access and savings.

 

Feb 15th

All done.... unpacked all boxes. inventory up to date, ready to rock and roll again on all fronts.

Next up... organize for NEW record and book orders :-)

oh, and put away some overflow books, and tidy up shelves for hungry shoppers.

It's starting to look like a bookstore again :-)

Jan27th:

LOCKDOWN AND STORE CREDITS We still WANT your used records as trade-ins.
When taking over Millpond, we had agreed to continue with the store credits. The lockdown will make it difficult to claim these. SO>... the solution. TADA!
If you have store credits, please contact me, vince, between 3 and 5 pm at 519-623-4050 and i'll set you up with a digital coupon you can use for your ONLINE purchases now.
Also:  Canada POST raised prices... again.
This makes it more convenient to order online, AND get flat rate shipping if you order 3 records or more.  Sorry, out of our control.
 Imagine.... it's now cheaper for me to ship to California (with UPS) than to Toronto (with Canada Post).   Sad but true.

Ok,   going from watching the tides come in and out. 

we progressed from that to hiding out in a cave for  a bit. 

It's been quite a ride reviving Millpond, but a lot of fun along the way. 

The following might be a bit to digest, but trust me , it's worth the read. 

Coming back out.  here's a status on Millpond Records & Books. 

1. move all stock to new location and try to get Millpond running again. 

  • records are LIVE online and in store . 
  •  inventory has been verified and we are fulfilling 100% of all on-line orders again. 
  • BOOKS >  now being pulled out of storage.  Well over 1500 books are online today, and we're putting about 5-600 MORE up daily......   be back in full swing asap. 

2.  Lockdown: 

  • we offer curbside pickup with a simple phone call to arrange an appointment at convenient hours. 
  • Convenient  delivery to your door is available for a small fee.
  • Shipping worldwide available.
  • ONLINE ordering.  always available on our website at https://millpondrb.ca 
  • Special online incentives being offered to logged in customers. 

VIP   

  • Any logged in customer will automatically become a VIP member. 
  • Vip members have access to our NEW ARRIVALS for the FIRST for two weeks,  then all new arrivals become public.  (YES, YOU GET FIRST DIBS)
  • Vip items are always presented at a DISCOUNT to members. 
  • (reorganization in progress... coming soon) Vip Pre-order priveleges allow you to order records from our preferred sources at significant discount. We share our discounted rates with you for lower costs. 
  • As a VIP your checkout is much faster. All your info is filled in automatically when you make a purchase. All you need to do is hit paypal or enter your credit card info  Almost one click, eh? 

3.  Store credits, still honoured.  Any that were valid from Jan 1 of 2020 are still valid now. (regular yearly expiry has been changed to perpetual = no expiry in future) 

4.  Gift cards now added online. The recipient can use the gift card code and apply it directly ONLINE now when they purchase.  Much easier and flexible.  (you can also apply during store purchase if you like).  Amounts of $20, $50, or $100 available 

5. Website improvements: 

  • Now all info is easily searchable,  Author, Artist, Format, Music Genre, Book Category etc.   
  • Wishlist added.  Now you can make your wishlist for future reference. If you are logged in this is permanent and you can go back to it tomorrow or next month, still there. 
  • Improved search bar with instant results showing, including picts and direct link to add to cart
  • SOLD items now in a seperate category.  If you see something you want, just  hit the "email me" link and we'll keep track of these and let you know when back in stock.  This applies to USED albums and books too. 

6.  Added records.  

  • Starting the process of adding NEW arrivals again.. Keep an eye out for new records and books daily.   Stuff is going to move FAST from here on. 
  • Added over 2000 LP's available from Ernie, in California, that you might like, available as PRE-Order with small deposit now.  The list is updated every couple of days so we can ensure we can get  what you order. 

7.  All system on board and online again. 

  •  We are now taking trade-ins for store credit on Books and Records again. 
  •  A bit of a breakdown in Online record orders for us here.... looks like FAB and Warner have messed up the accounts, and we're WAITING on them go clear it up before proceeding with new record and custom orders.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  

We're BACK in full swing.
